Good morning beautiful people!
Right now, I'm in bed (dressed but I got back under the covers because I'm freezing) writing another post because I think this really must become a regular thing for me. I'm cold because despite the fact that it is almost April, there is still snow on the ground. Now, I'm not going to go on a rage-fest against snow or cold. I'm an adult, I live in a place where winter controls more than 6 months of the year it seems. So I knew it would happen again this year, and complaining really does nothing but make me miserable and more aware of the cold.
Despite all this, I'm hearing birds singing outside. Despite the cold, the snow, the wind....they are back and they are chirping away out there. And slowly but surely, they are giving me hope for sunshine! Their sweet songs are prompting pictures in my mind of sunny spring days with green grass and budding flowers. They are reminding me that under all that ice and snow, there is life, just waiting to BURST out!
And I'm thankful for the snow. Without it, there would be no contrast between the warmth and the cold. I would not appreciate every second of spring and summer as much as I do without the cold to juxtapose it .
What I guess I'm saying is, every season is so purposefully planned. Each detail that you think is a hindrance, may actually be a path to thankfulness and joy. Don't miss a second of any of it.
I worry sometimes, and it usually has to do with thoughts of the future. Not only does it do me no good at all, as I don't actually know the future, but it distracts me from soaking in every moment of the present. Don't let the cold keep you from seeing the beauty of the snow. Don't let the mud distract you from seeing the living, wet, life seeping into the ground to water those dormant flowers. Don't let the winter keep you from seeing the sun. It's always there.

Does anyone else create more than one blog and then forget about the first one?
Seems that's what I did here.
Well, many projects, a move to a new place, and one baby later...(that baby is now 1.5yrs old.) Here we are!
I'm thinking this may be a good space to share creative inspirations with you all. Not like you need another one of those, but I'd love to collaborate and include some guest bloggers. Kinda like a creative council? What say you? :)
Comment below with suggestions for things that inspire you or you think are really creatively rad...and let's get this party started!

So it seems silly
It is a silly thing that I have not begun a blog before now... I think that I just automatically post everything of interest to me on my facebook wall. Lame city. There are just too many things that I need to get out of my system at the end of a day... verbally and visually.
So here I will begin my very own blogging adventure on the ever expanding inter web.
To begin, I wanted to include my newest love... yarn pom poms!!
I mean. Soft. Small. Colorful. Adorable.
I am quickly mastering the art of making these little cuties... :) oh excitement.
